Electronic Warfare

Put simply, the Live Electronic Warfare (EW) training effects that Draken delivers are second to none. We specialise in replicating combat conditions, regularly supporting forces in the air, land and sea domains.

Developing the response

 

Operational effectiveness of any force can be quickly compromised by an adversary with the ability to manipulate the electronic warfare (EW) spectrum.


Exposure to these effects in advance, through regular and repetitive training, enables frontline personnel to recognise and counter such threats instinctively when they occur for real. This is the core rationale that underpins our live EW training.


We use our Live EW technologies and our expert knowledge to deliver a range of training effects, including threat simulation and electronic attack, that generate a profound force multiplier effect for those we work with.

Front line knowledge

 

Our Live EW aircraft fleet consists of modified business jets crewed by dedicated Electronic Warfare Officers with a wealth of front line experience from air force and naval backgrounds.


Our experienced civilian and ex-military aircrew regularly lead formations, planning and integrating with complex multi-national exercises. They offer a unique capability across the span of training requirements for air forces, navies and land forces.


Additionally, our dedicated Close Air Support service provides realistic training support for land forces, giving a credible simulation of modern precision weaponry, procedures and uncrewed operations.
